Overview
A brushless motor spins the carbide-tipped blade on this Bosch PROFACTOR saw, which runs from a battery pack instead of a cord. The saw ships with a miter gauge, a rip fence with an auxiliary fence, a table insert, a push stick and wrenches.
Cutting without an extension cord makes setup quick on a job site, and the guard system and fences come in the box. The tool-only format means batteries are extra, and the listing's blade length and tooth count entries look unreliable.
Who it's for
Job sites without reliable power and small shops with tight space suit a cordless table saw. A woodworker doing thick hardwood cuts all day will want a larger saw with a bigger motor.
Pros and cons
- No cord needed
- Guard and fences included
- Push stick and wrenches included
- Long limited warranty on the cordless line
- Battery and charger not included
- Heavy to carry
- Blade length entry unclear
- Wood cutting only
Performance notes
A brushless motor spins the blade at its rated speed as long as the battery has charge, and a smaller blade limits cut depth compared with a full-size saw. The rip fence and miter gauge keep cuts straight, and the Smart Guard System covers the blade during use.
