Overview
Not an instant camera, this is a pocket printer that takes photos from a compatible phone over Bluetooth through the Canon Mini Print app. Prints are small peel and stick photos on ZINK paper.
Choose it for quick, shareable stickers from a phone in a body small enough to carry in a pocket. The limit is size and data quality, since the prints are small, the resolution is given two ways, and some entries, like the copy and power figures, cannot be right for this printer.
Who it's for
A student, traveler or crafter sharing snapshots will use the app and the peel-and-stick paper. People printing from a computer, or wanting big photos, should choose a larger printer.
Pros and cons
- Peel and stick prints
- Bluetooth app printing
- Paper pack included
- Charging cable included
- Small print size
- Resolution listed two ways
- Copy and power fields are wrong
Performance notes
Prints develop on ZINK paper, so the paper pack is the consumable and running out of sheets ends the job. Image quality depends on the source photo and the Mini Print software, and the small size limits fine detail. Charging is by USB cable, so battery life follows use.
