Overview
A TV stand with an optical output can feed this black soundbar directly, and Bluetooth lets a phone play through it. An aux input covers older devices.
Three input types in a simple body are the reason to consider it, and the power rating is generous. The limit is the system label: the listing shows two channels only, so it is not a surround setup.
Who it's for
A modest TV setup with an optical or aux connection is the situation it addresses. Shoppers who want rear speakers, a subwoofer, wall mounting details or HDMI should look at a multi piece system.
Pros and cons
- Three input types
- Bluetooth wireless playback
- Optical connection for TV audio
- No subwoofer listed
- HDMI not listed
- Mounting options not listed
Performance notes
A two channel bar spreads sound only across the front, so there is no true surround effect. The optical input carries digital audio from a TV and the aux input a stereo analog signal. Placement directly below the screen at ear level gives clearer dialogue.
