Overview
Five metal blades in a plastic housing drive the airflow of this smart pedestal fan, which oscillates in two directions and tilts in a wide arc. A remote with a coin cell, an app, voice assistants and a touchpad all control it.
The reason to buy is control: wide oscillation, an adjustable height pole and several ways to switch it, from a remote to Alexa. The limitation is the listing, which gives different speed counts in the title and the specs, and the unlisted motor type.
Who it's for
Bedroom and living room users who want a quiet, adjustable fan they can run by voice or from bed will use every control. Anyone who wants a simple dial, or a fan that works without Wi-Fi, should consider a simpler model.
Pros and cons
- Wide oscillation in two directions
- Remote, app, voice and touchpad control
- RGB light and timer features
- Adjustable height pedestal
- Speed count differs between title and specs
- Motor type not listed
- Needs Wi-Fi for smart features
Performance notes
Two oscillation axes sweep the airflow across the whole room, so the stream does not stay on one spot. Each speed step changes both the airflow and the noise, and the listing gives a single noise figure. A pedestal raises the head so the stream clears furniture.
