Overview
Aiwa sells this as a stereo boombox that plays from a phone, laptop or tablet over Bluetooth, with wired and USB inputs as backups. Two speakers are built into a wide aqua blue case built around bass.
The reason to look at it is a rechargeable body with several input choices and a bass-forward design. The limit is that disc support is unclear from the listing and the battery run time is missing.
Who it's for
A listener who streams from a phone and wants one box for a small room will find it enough. Buyers who need a disc player or a loud party speaker should confirm features before ordering.
Pros and cons
- Several input types
- Stereo pair of speakers
- Wide case for bass
- Battery run time not listed
- Modest rated speaker output
- Disc support unclear in listing
- Large and heavy to carry
Performance notes
Small speakers rated at low output cap the loudness, so volume suits a room rather than a yard. The bass emphasis comes from tuning rather than driver size. Streaming quality depends on the Bluetooth link to the phone.
