Overview
Casting for bass is the job this one piece Shimano rod is rated for. It combines a blended blank with a wood handle, and the model code NRX+ 803C JWR identifies the version.
Fast action with medium heavy power is a combination that suits bass techniques needing quick tip response and backbone. The limitation is information: the listing repeats the model name in place of real feature bullets.
Who it's for
Bass anglers who already know this model code and want the listed power and action. Shoppers who need a travel rod, a fly rod or full length details should look elsewhere.
Pros and cons
- Fast action tip response
- Medium heavy power
- Bass target species
- Wood handle material
- Rod length not listed
- Line weight unit not given
- Bullets only repeat the model name
Performance notes
Fast action means the rod bends mostly in the upper section, which gives quick hook sets and precise lure control. Medium heavy power adds the backbone to move fish out of cover. A one piece blank avoids ferrule joints along the rod length.
