Overview
Not a full size hunting blade, this FUNBRO is a compact foldable box cutter with a stainless steel blade and a plastic handle that works for either hand. The black body is made to ride on a keychain or in a pocket.
Its strength is carry size: it is light, folds shut and suits everyday cutting of rope, paper and boxes. The limitation is the short blade, which will not handle bigger camping or survival jobs even though the listing mentions them.
Who it's for
Daily carry for opening parcels, trimming twine and slicing fruit is where this knife fits. A left or right hand grip works equally. Anyone who needs a lock, a sheath or a serious outdoor blade should shop for a larger knife.
Pros and cons
- Compact foldable body
- Stainless steel blade
- Ambidextrous handle design
- Lightweight for keychain carry
- Short blade limits heavy cutting
- Lock type not listed
Performance notes
Cutting depends on the short stainless blade and its compound bevel, which holds an edge for paper, cord and packaging but gives little leverage on thick material. The folding design protects the edge in a pocket, and the light ABS handle trades heft for carry comfort.
