Overview

The Leupold Mark 4HD 6-24x52 is a 34mm, first focal plane rifle scope with side focus parallax adjustment and Leupold's PR2-MOA reticle in a matte finish. It is designed and machined in the USA and rated waterproof, fogproof and shockproof.

Leupold markets the Mark 4HD's optical system around light transmission and glare reduction, aimed at staying usable in harsh direct light as well as low light. Because it's first focal plane, the PR2-MOA reticle scales with magnification, so range estimation and holdovers hold up at any power setting from 6x to 24x. Side focus parallax adjustment lets the shooter dial out parallax error without breaking cheek weld to reach a front bell adjustment.

  • 6-24x52mm magnification, 34mm main tube
  • First focal plane PR2-MOA reticle
  • Side focus parallax adjustment
  • Waterproof, fogproof, shockproof, made in USA

Performance notes

The first focal plane design means the PR2-MOA reticle grows and shrinks with the image as magnification changes, keeping MOA holdovers accurate whether you're set at 6x or 24x. Side parallax adjustment is aimed at removing parallax error at various distances without needing to reach the objective bell. Leupold states the scope is waterproof, fogproof and shockproof, and it's assembled in the USA.
