When it works, reviewers describe excellent glass clarity and precise dialing through the BurrisConnect app, but the spread of out-of-box failures means it is worth buying somewhere with an easy return path.

Overview
A first focal plane riflescope from Burris with an illuminated reticle and a digital PEK elevation turret that pairs over Bluetooth with the BurrisConnect app to dial ballistics for a given distance.
- First focal plane illuminated Rapid Cross MOA reticle
- PEK digital elevation turret paired via Bluetooth
- Heads-up display shows distance, cant, wind holdover and battery
- Zero turn stop knobs for quick return to sight-in
Who it's for
Hunters who want app-assisted elevation dialing and are comfortable troubleshooting or dealing with warranty service if a unit arrives faulty. Buyers planning to mount on a 20 MOA rail should note the ballistics app does not currently account for that setup.
Strengths and trade-offs
Drawn from this product's published specifications.
- ED glass gives clear, sharp images across the magnification range
- App pairing lets you dial to a ranged distance without looking away
- Functions without power once turret is configured
- Some units arrived with dead batteries or unresponsive turrets
- Reported repair turnaround as long as five weeks
- Ballistics app does not currently account for a 20 MOA rail
Performance notes
The PEK turret combines a digital sensor with a clickless mechanical elevation adjustment for claimed precision down to 1/10 MOA, and functions without power once configured so a dead battery will not strand a hunt. The 5x zoom ratio gives a wider field of view up close and better target acquisition at distance, and ED glass is aimed at reducing chromatic aberration in low light.

Questions about the Burris 200203
Common buyer questions answered straight from the product spec data - no fluff, no "it depends".
Does the Burris Veracity PH need a charged battery to function?
Only for configuration and the digital display; the PEK turret continues to function mechanically once it has been set up.
Can I mount this on a 20 MOA rail?
Burris does not recommend it, since the ballistics app does not currently account for that offset; one reviewer used a 0 MOA rail instead.
What has gone wrong for buyers who had problems?
Reported issues include scopes shipping with dead batteries and turrets that did not respond to adjustment, with repair turnaround reported at around five weeks by one reviewer.
