Overview
A fully coated objective lens gathers light at the front of a long tube, and a Kellner eyepiece magnifies the image. The altazimuth mount pans up and across by hand, and a finder scope helps aim.
The reason to buy is a bundle that covers eyepieces, a Barlow, a finder, a tripod and phone gear in one box. The limit is manual aiming and a magnification claim the listing does not break down.
Who it's for
Casual stargazers who want a complete kit and plan to share phone photos will find what they need in the box. Those after tracking mounts or long exposures should look at other equipment.
Pros and cons
- Three eyepieces plus Barlow
- Phone adapter and phone mount
- Fully coated optics
- Finder scope included
- Manual aiming only
- Magnification claim is unexplained
- Long tube to store and carry
Performance notes
Aperture decides how much light the lens gathers, while each eyepiece and the Barlow set the magnification. Higher power shows more shake, so tripod steadiness matters. Atmosphere and seeing conditions limit what high power can show.
