Overview
An RTX 5070 graphics card built on Nvidia's Blackwell architecture with 12GB of GDDR7, PCIe 5.0 and a 2.5-slot cooler sized to fit small-form-factor cases.
Asus markets this specifically as SFF-ready, meaning the 2.5-slot width and shroud were sized with compact cases in mind rather than being a full-size card squeezed to fit. The phase-change thermal pad and dual BIOS are the two features worth knowing before comparing this to a cheaper 5070 card.
- Nvidia Blackwell architecture, DLSS 4
- SFF-ready 2.5-slot cooler design
- 12GB GDDR7, PCIe 5.0
- Axial-tech fans, phase-change thermal pad, dual BIOS
Who it's for
Fits a builder targeting a compact or mid-tower PC who still wants a card capable of DLSS 4 and full PCIe 5.0 bandwidth. Less relevant for someone who already has a larger case and doesn't need the SFF-focused design.
Strengths and trade-offs
Drawn from this product's published specifications.
- SFF-ready 2.5-slot design for compact builds
- 12GB GDDR7 on a PCIe 5.0 interface
- DLSS 4 support via Blackwell architecture
- 2.5-slot width still needs case clearance to confirm
- No customer reviews yet on this listing
- Full display bandwidth needs an HDMI/DP 2.1 monitor
Performance notes
The Axial-tech fans use a smaller hub to fit longer blades and a barrier ring that increases downward air pressure, a design meant to push more air through a shorter, SFF-friendly shroud than a plain fan of the same size would. A phase-change thermal pad between the GPU die and the heatsink is meant to hold thermal contact better than a standard paste or pad as the card heats and cools repeatedly. Dual BIOS gives a second fan and clock profile to switch to, useful for prioritizing quiet running over peak clocks.
