Overview
Not a single-piece alloy, the Ghost OG Double Barrel pairs a composite handle with a separate barrel. It carries a standard grip and a USSSA stamp for fastpitch play.
The two piece composite design is aimed at a smooth feel and less vibration on contact, and the title lists several drop weights. The limitation is that this listing shows one length and weight, and barrel diameter is missing.
Who it's for
Fastpitch players who play USSSA schedules and prefer a composite bat will see the fit. Hitters wanting another drop weight, or a stamp for a different league, should check the other sizes first.
Pros and cons
- Two piece design softens contact
- Composite barrel and handle
- Standard grip size
- Barrel diameter missing
- Only one size shown in specs
- Certified for a single league
Performance notes
Joining a composite handle to a separate barrel lets the two parts flex independently, so vibration travels less into the hands. Drop weight sets how light the bat feels, and a lighter drop gives more bat speed.
