Overview
VEVOR builds this portable tow dolly as a three wheel carbon steel frame with a ball coupler and pneumatic tires. It is finished in black and orange and is meant for moving RV trailers by the tongue.
A moderate tongue rating and a user manual in the box make it a reasonable fit for owners with moderate trailers. What it lacks is flexibility, because only one ball size is listed, and there is no warranty to fall back on.
Who it's for
Trailer owners positioning an RV in a driveway or storage spot will find the rating and tires suited to the job. Heavier trailers, or buyers who want warranty coverage, should look elsewhere.
Pros and cons
- Tongue weight rating for moderate trailers
- Air-filled pneumatic tires
- User manual included
- Three wheel carbon steel frame
- Single ball size only
- No manufacturer warranty
- Tire diameter given in the title only
- Lift mechanism undescribed
Performance notes
Pneumatic tires cushion the load over gravel and cracks while three wheels spread the tongue weight. The carbon steel frame handles the stated rating, but the listing gives no details on steering or braking. Reading the supplied manual before the first move is a sensible step.
