Overview
UGREEN builds this HDMI switch so two computers can share two monitors, a keyboard, a mouse, a printer and a webcam. The kit adds four HDMI cables, two USB cables, a power adapter and a controller.
A complete cable kit and dual-monitor sharing are the reasons to buy it for a pair of machines. It also works with consoles and streaming boxes. The limitation is the listing, which gives no size, weight or build material.
Who it's for
Home offices and gaming desks with HDMI displays and a couple of machines get the most from the included cables. People with DisplayPort screens or more than two sources should choose a different model.
Pros and cons
- Cables included in the kit
- Fast USB ports
- Wide device compatibility
- Size and weight not listed
- Only two computers supported
- Resolution lower than 8K models
Performance notes
The switch routes HDMI video from the active computer to both monitors and moves the shared USB devices with it. Picture quality depends on the source, the cable and the displays. Video resolution tops out at the stated ceiling.
