Overview
Writing in black water-based ink through a fine nib, this retractable pen comes in a soft pink round plastic body with an ergonomic grip. It is sold as a set with cartridges and is listed for calligraphy and everyday writing.
A retractable tip and ready cartridges make it easy to start and to carry, and the pink finish suits a gift. Ink choice is limited to the black cartridges described, and no filler for bottled ink is mentioned.
Who it's for
Daily journaling and notes call for fine strokes and a body that is easy to hold. Anyone wanting metal construction, color choices in ink or a converter should choose a pen that documents those parts.
Pros and cons
- Retractable, no cap to lose
- Fine nib for a narrow line
- Cartridges included in the set
- Ergonomic grip shape
- Converter not mentioned
- Black ink only in the set
Performance notes
A fine nib draws a narrow line as ink moves from the cartridge to the nib by capillary action. Water-based ink flows freely on ordinary paper, and the retractable design closes the tip between uses.
