Overview

A 34mm, first focal plane rifle scope covering 3-24x magnification with a 56mm objective lens, built around ED glass and a MIL-Tree reticle for tactical long-range shooting. Adjustments run in 1/10 MIL clicks with a zero stop turret and turn indicator.

Vector Optics builds the Genii around a wide 8x zoom ratio and a 34mm tube, giving more internal room for elevation and windage adjustment than a standard 30mm scope, which matters at the longer ranges this scope targets. The first focal plane reticle keeps its MIL subtensions accurate at any magnification setting, and the zero stop turret with a turn indicator is meant to help a shooter return to zero quickly after dialing for a shot.

  • 3-24x56mm, 34mm first focal plane scope
  • ED glass with fully multi-coated lenses
  • 1/10 MIL clicks, 30 MIL adjustment range
  • Zero stop turret, IP67 rated, kill flash filter

Who it's for

Fits a long-range or competitive shooter who wants first focal plane holdover accuracy across the full zoom range and fine 1/10 MIL adjustments. Less suited to a hunter who mainly needs a lighter, lower-magnification scope, since the 56mm objective and 34mm tube add bulk and weight.

Strengths and trade-offs

Drawn from this product's published specifications.

What stands out
  • First focal plane MIL-Tree reticle holds true at any magnification
  • 34mm tube with wide elevation and windage adjustment range
  • Zero stop turret with turn indicator
  • IP67 rated and shock tested to 1000G
What to check first
  • 56mm objective and 34mm tube add bulk versus smaller scopes
  • No rating or review data attached to this listing
  • 24x top magnification is more than needed for closer-range hunting

Performance notes

ED glass is used to cut chromatic aberration, which keeps colors and edges sharper at the high end of the 24x zoom range than standard glass typically manages. The scope is rated to IP67 water and fog resistance and shock tested to 1000G, with a kill flash filter included to cut glare in bright daylight.
