Overview
A riyaz practitioner or student gets a digital tabla and tanpura in one white ABS plastic body, with the drone and rhythm set to the same pitch. Powered speakers carry the sound, and a bag is packed with the unit.
Selecting a pitch sets it for both the tanpura and the tabla, which spares a learner from tuning two sources by hand. The listing gives conflicting size and weight figures and no power details, so treat those as unconfirmed.
Who it's for
A singer practising at home or traveling will use the synced drone and rhythm to practise alone. Serious tabla students who need the feel of skin heads should learn on acoustic drums instead.
Pros and cons
- Tanpura and tabla in one unit
- Single pitch selection for both
- Several percussion voices included
- Carry bag included
- Size and weight figures conflict
- Power source not listed
- Warranty shown as not applicable
Performance notes
Choosing a pitch sets it for both the tanpura and the tabla, so the drone and the rhythm always agree. Speakers handle the output, and the unit can play the tanpura with tabla, pakhawaj, dholak or duff at once.
