Overview
An angler who weights baits in small steps gets a kit of assorted lead nail weights in grey, supplied as a set with a mix of sizes.
An assortment lets a rigger adjust bait weight in small steps. The listing names no weight per size and no bait type, so choosing sizes is trial and error.
Who it's for
Fine adjustment of bait weight is the situation. Buyers who need non-lead weights or exact grams per piece will find neither.
Pros and cons
- Assorted sizes in one kit
- Lead nail weights
- Light overall kit
- Weights per size not given
- Lead material only
- Bait compatibility not described
Performance notes
A nail weight adds mass in a slim shape, so it can go inside or beside a bait and change how it falls. Lead is dense, so the pieces stay small for their weight. Heavier nails make the bait fall nose first.
