Overview
A battery-driven ratchet head turns fasteners in the Skil kit, which is listed as a ratchet wrench with a lithium-ion pack. The kit adds a USB charger so the battery can be topped up without a separate dock.
Self-contained charging is the reason to look at it: battery and charger come in one box. Drive size and speed are missing from the listing, so socket compatibility needs checking.
Who it's for
Garage users after a self-contained cordless ratchet. Professionals needing high torque or a known drive size should check the maker's data.
Pros and cons
- Battery and charger included
- Charges over USB-C
- Torque rating stated
- Long reach body
- Drive size not stated
- Speed rating missing
- Torque is modest for stuck bolts
Performance notes
Torque decides which bolts it can loosen, and the ratcheting action avoids repositioning. The small battery sets how long it runs between charges. Length helps reach into recesses but adds leverage on the tool.
