The magnetic side uses 25 N55 magnets aligned to a phone's built-in MagSafe array (or the supplied metal ring) for up to 3000gf of hold, enough to keep the phone in place through hard braking. A dual-axis metal arm gives 360 degrees at the base plus 210 degrees on each fold, so the phone can go from portrait to landscape without unclipping it. Charging tops out at 15W but only when the car's power source can supply 18W or more; a weaker outlet still charges the phone, just slower.
