Overview
Not just a timed hopper, the Stralith feeder adds a night vision camera and two-way audio so you can see and speak to your pet as meals drop. An app on dual-band WiFi sets schedules for up to ten users.
Watching feeding live gives peace of mind on long workdays and trips. It works with dry kibble in a set size range, and the battery backup needs D cells you supply.
Who it's for
Busy professionals and travelers with cats or small dogs get scheduled meals and a live view. Wet food feeders and large-breed owners need a different feeder.
Pros and cons
- Camera with night vision
- Two-way audio and voice recording
- Works on 5GHz and 2.4GHz WiFi
- Portion control for weight plans
- Dry kibble only
- Backup batteries not included
- Kibble size range limits food choice
- Cloud or subscription terms unclear
Performance notes
Portions drop in set amounts, so accuracy depends on kibble staying within the listed size range. The anti-jam system and airtight lid keep food moving and fresh between meals. Battery backup holds the schedule through an outage, though the camera use on batteries is not described.
