Overview
Bolt-on carbon steel rails with a textured black powder coat form this OEDRO side step set, listed for the Colorado and Canyon crew cab. The title mentions two stairs on each side.
A vehicle specific fit, a stated load rating and a two year warranty make the set easy to judge. The caveat is detail: the listing does not describe the step surface depth or whether any drilling is needed.
Who it's for
Owners of mid-size GM crew cab pickups who need a boost into the cab will use the bars daily. Drivers of other cab styles, or those who want a retractable step, should look elsewhere.
Pros and cons
- Vehicle specific crew cab fit
- Stated maximum weight capacity
- Textured powder coat finish
- Brackets and hardware included
- Crew cab models only
- Step width not listed
- Fixed steps, not retractable
- Drilling needs unstated
Performance notes
Carbon steel rails carry the step load, and the textured powder coat adds grip and resists chips. The mounting brackets set how firmly the bars attach to the truck, but the listing gives no mounting details beyond the included hardware.
