Overview
VRC builds this rear bumper as a replacement for the Colorado and Canyon, in chrome-finished steel with plastic parts. It comes with a hardware set and two brackets.
A long list of OEM equivalent numbers makes it easy to verify against the old part. The limit is the missing sensor cutouts, which rules it out for trucks that came with them.
Who it's for
Owners of mid-size GM pickups who want a chrome bumper and have no sensors in the old one can match the numbers. Trucks with sensor cutouts need a different bumper.
Pros and cons
- Brackets and hardware included
- Many OEM cross-reference numbers
- Chrome steel build
- One year warranty
- No sensor holes
- Fit by year range only
- Installation steps unlisted
- Chrome needs upkeep
Performance notes
The steel body takes the rear impact and the chrome finish covers it, while the brackets position it on the frame. Matching an OEM number from the old bumper is the surest check that holes and mounting points line up.
