Overview
Not a floor-standing treadle wheel, this mini e-spinner is a small electric unit for spinning wool and fiber. It has a Type-C port, adjustable speed and three bobbins, in a metal and plastic body.
A motor does the turning so the spinner can focus on feeding fiber, and the light body is easy to move. Battery capacity, motor power and speed range are not given, and neither is an included cable.
Who it's for
Made for an adult hand spinner exploring electric spinning with wool or other fiber. Those wanting a traditional treadle wheel or documented speed range should look elsewhere.
Pros and cons
- Speed is adjustable
- Three bobbins supplied
- Type-C port for power
- Light body for moving around
- Power cable not mentioned
- Metal and plastic body
- Not a traditional treadle wheel
Performance notes
An electric motor turns the bobbin, so twist is controlled by the speed setting rather than a treadle. A slower speed gives more twist control and a faster one fills a bobbin sooner. The listing gives no figures for either.
