Overview
OMOTON makes this slim riser from aluminum, with a folding frame that stores flat in a bag. Silicone pads grip the laptop and the desk, and the holder is ventilated so heat can escape underneath.
Adjustable height raises a screen for video meetings and typing, and the fold-away shape fits a backpack. The limit is the missing weight rating and phone support, which the listing marks as not compatible.
Who it's for
A kitchen table, classroom or hotel desk where a laptop should sit higher and the stand must pack away quickly. Owners of very heavy workstations should look for a stand with a stated load rating.
Pros and cons
- Foldable for easy travel
- Non-slip silicone pads
- Ventilated holder design
- Weight capacity not listed
- Not designed for phones
- Tabletop use only
Performance notes
Raising the laptop lifts the screen and opens airflow beneath the keyboard deck. Silicone pads add friction at the contact points, which resists sliding on smooth desks. Stability at a taller setting depends on the hinge and joint tension, so a centered load matters.
