Overview
A homeowner shading a patio gets a motorized awning whose semi-cassette frame protects the fabric when it is retracted. Built-in LED strips with two brightness levels light the space after dark, and the multi-stripe fabric resists UV and water.
Powered extension and integrated lights make it a good fit for outdoor entertaining. The frame covering the fabric when closed helps it last. Installation needs, wind limits and remote details are absent from the listing.
Who it's for
Deck and patio owners who want a clean retracted look and built in lighting will appreciate this style. Buyers who need published wind ratings or a plug and play install should check with the seller.
Pros and cons
- Semi-cassette protects fabric
- Built-in LED strips
- Two brightness levels
- UV and water resistant fabric
- Mounting details missing
- Wind rating not published
- Power and remote details absent
Performance notes
The semi-cassette frame covers part of the rolled fabric, which reduces weather exposure while retracted. Fabric resistance to UV and water governs how long the color and coating last. Motor and mount strength decide how well it handles wind, and neither is described.
