Overview
Not a small trim grinder, this is a full size corded angle grinder with a big wheel guard for metal and masonry work. A side handle threads on for two-hand control, and flanges and a hex key come with it for wheel changes.
Wheel diameter and motor power make this a tool for stock removal rather than detail work. The weight and length are the limit, since overhead and one-handed work get tiring quickly.
Who it's for
Metalworkers, concrete crews and renovation contractors who need the larger wheel size and a corded power source. Hobbyists doing quick touch-ups will find a smaller grinder easier to handle, and anyone needing a battery tool should look at cordless models.
Pros and cons
- Large wheel size for fast stock removal
- Guard supplied with the tool
- Side handle for two-hand control
- Flanges and hex key included
- Heavy for overhead work
- Long body is awkward in tight spaces
- Wheel type options not listed
- Warranty length not stated
Performance notes
Motor power and wheel speed set how aggressively it removes material, and the large wheel covers more surface per pass. The side handle gives leverage against torque, and the guard directs sparks away from the user. Wheel choice, from cutting to grinding, still governs the result.
