Overview
A metal fabricator or contractor near an outlet gets mains power in this DEWALT grinder, which lists a motor power figure, a speed and a weight. The listing offers no bullets or description beyond that.
Corded power avoids battery limits, so long grinding jobs do not stall for a charge. The limitation is information: wheel size, guard, handle position and what ships are all missing.
Who it's for
Grinding work near an outlet suits a corded unit rated for demanding jobs. People working away from power, or those who need accessory details up front, should choose differently.
Pros and cons
- High motor power figure
- Speed figure listed
- Wheel size not stated
- Guard and handle details missing
- Cord limits where it can be used
Performance notes
Motor power and speed decide how quickly a wheel removes material and how well it resists bogging down. The cord holds output steady through long cuts. Because no wheel is described, results depend on the wheel and guard fitted.
