Overview
A bass or panfish angler gets a spool of clear Berkley Vanish here, which is a fluorocarbon blend. The line is listed with a thin diameter and a short spool length.
A clear, thin fluorocarbon is the reason to look at it for light line setups. The limit is the short spool, which suits leaders and top shots more than filling a big reel.
Who it's for
Spinning reels, leaders and clear-water fishing suit this length and test. Anglers filling a large casting reel or fishing heavy cover will want more line or a stronger test.
Pros and cons
- Short spool length
- Spooling guidance not listed
- Not for heavy cover
Performance notes
Fluorocarbon is low in visibility underwater, so it works well in clear water. A thin diameter casts farther than thicker line of the same test. The blend construction trades some stiffness for easier handling.
