Overview
Not a cordless tool, this Bosch router plugs into a wall outlet and spins at a high rate for edge work. The listing is brief and gives only voltage, current, speed and weight.
Low weight and high speed suit a compact router used for trim, edges and small profiles. What is missing is nearly everything else: collet size, depth adjustment and base type are not in the listing.
Who it's for
Hobbyists and trim carpenters who work on edges and small details. Cabinet shops that run large bits all day should look at a heavier, higher power router.
Pros and cons
- Light to hold
- High listed speed
- Corded constant power
- Simple spec sheet
- Collet size not listed
- Base type not listed
- Kit contents not listed
- Power rating not clearly given
Performance notes
Speed matters for clean cuts with small bits, and a light body makes it easy to guide along an edge. A lower weight gives less mass to resist vibration with large bits. The real result also depends on bit sharpness and feed rate.
