Overview
A craft or repair hobbyist working on small parts gets a cordless rotary tool in this Dremel kit. The listing names deburring, grinding, polishing and sanding, with two lithium-ion batteries in the box.
A wide speed range suits delicate polishing as well as faster grinding, and two batteries mean one can charge while the other works. The limitation is the category label, which says router, and the lack of any listed accessory count.
Who it's for
A workbench for craft, repair or small metal and plastic parts suits this rotary tool. Shoppers wanting to cut edge profiles in wood should look for an actual router instead.
Pros and cons
- Two batteries included
- Wide variable speed range
- Multiple finishing uses
- Not a woodworking router
- Accessory count not listed
- Low voltage suits light work
Performance notes
Speed is the main control: low speeds suit polishing and sanding, and high speeds suit grinding and deburring. A small cordless motor trades power for freedom from a cord, so heavy removal takes longer.
