Overview
Not a plastic toddler trike, this one is built on a steel frame with a real wood back deck and chrome fenders. A bell and tassels come on the handlebar, and the seat moves through several positions.
The reason to buy is the sturdy, low-slung build and the seat that grows with the child. The limitation is that assembly is required, and the age range is narrow.
Who it's for
Parents of toddlers who want a stable, low center of gravity will like the wide stance and adjustable seat. Families who dislike assembly, or those with an older child, should consider another design.
Pros and cons
- Real wood deck
- Lifetime limited warranty
- Narrow age range
- Household tools not included
Performance notes
The wide stance lowers the chance of tipping over. Air-filled tires smooth the ride, and rubber inset pedals and soft grips help small hands and feet. The seat adjusts as the child grows.
