Overview
Panfish ponds and ultralight rods are the setting for this Sufix spool, a clear nylon monofilament with a light test. The length is listed in yards.
A light test and a clear finish are the reasons to look at it for small lures. The limit is the missing diameter and the light strength.
Who it's for
Ultralight rods, ponds and panfish fishing suit light mono. Anglers who fish heavy cover or want a no-stretch line should choose something else.
Pros and cons
- Easy to tie
- Diameter not listed
- Not for heavy cover
- Short on strength
Performance notes
Nylon stretches under load, which cushions hook sets with light lures. A light test casts small baits well on a light reel. Clear color makes it hard for fish to notice.
