Overview
A weekend angler spooling a general-purpose reel can use this clear nylon Sufix line, which is rated in the middle of the freshwater range. The spool length is listed in yards.
A middle strength and a clear finish are the reasons to look at it for everyday use. The listing mixes mono and braid wording, so the construction is not certain.
Who it's for
General freshwater fishing, lakes and ponds suit a clear line at this strength. Buyers who specifically need braid, or a published diameter, should check the product page first.
Pros and cons
- Plain spool length
- Mono or braid unclear
- Diameter not listed
- Spooling advice not listed
Performance notes
A nylon line stretches under load, which cushions hook sets. Clear color is hard for fish to notice. The mid-range strength balances casting distance and holding power on a general-purpose reel.
