Overview
Not an acoustic-only package, this Washburn pack centers on an F-style mandolin finished in tobacco sunburst. The instrument is built from spruce and maple, with amplification and a bag completing the set.
The scroll body styling and a jack for amplification make this an option for both unplugged and plugged-in playing. A lifetime limited warranty is listed. The listing barely describes the pack, and the string count is given as six.
Who it's for
A player who wants to plug into an amp and carry the instrument in a bag gets that in one purchase. A buyer who needs the accessory list, tuner or strap details should confirm them first.
Pros and cons
- Pickup with 1/4 inch jack
- Limited lifetime warranty
- Spruce top, maple body
- Pack contents not itemized
- String count listed as six
- Tuner and strap unlisted
Performance notes
A pickup sends the instrument's signal through the jack to an amp, so amplified volume depends on the gear used. Unplugged, the wood body carries the sound. The listing gives no pickup type or preamp details.
