Overview
Hanging a long cylinder at leg height lets a fighter work low calf sweeps and knees that a short bag cannot take. This Fairtex bag has a full-length synthetic hide with a non-tear lining and arrives unfilled.
Strikers who throw kicks and knees get a bag that covers the whole body from the legs up. Filling, a chain and a ceiling mount are separate purchases, and the filled weight depends on what goes in.
Who it's for
Strikers and kickboxers who train low kicks and knees at home or in a gym, and who will fill the bag themselves, will use the shape. Beginners wanting a plug-and-play bag should choose a filled one.
Pros and cons
- Full length for low kicks and knees
- Synthetic hide shell
- Suits Muay Thai, MMA and boxing
- Chain and mount not listed
- Filled weight depends on the buyer
Performance notes
A long cylinder lets calf kicks and pushes land on the bag at the correct height, and filling density sets how hard it feels. Packing it firmly gives a heavier bag that absorbs power, while loose fill leaves it soft and swinging.
