Overview
Filling the high-density plastic base with water or sand anchors this Everlast PowerCore freestanding punch bag. The synthetic outer takes boxing and MMA strikes without hanging from a ceiling.
A freestanding bag skips ceiling or wall hardware, and the fill sets how still it stays under hits. Filled weight is not listed, so stability depends on how much water or sand goes in.
Who it's for
Home boxing and MMA practice is the use. Strong strikers who need the weight of a hanging bag should consider one instead.
Pros and cons
- No ceiling mount needed
- Base fills with water or sand
- Rounded freestanding design
- Filled weight not listed
- Warranty text is long and has conditions
- Fill material not included
Performance notes
Weight in the base sets how much the bag moves when hit. Water or sand makes it heavier than the empty frame, and a heavier fill gives a steadier bag.
