Overview
A boat deck or a garage shelf is where this large Plano case lives, a hard shell with one open bay for fishing and outdoor gear. The listing names fishing, boating and outdoor lifestyle as its uses.
Size and a hard shell are the reasons to look at it for bulk storage. The limit is the single bay and the lack of wheels.
Who it's for
Boats, trucks and garage shelves suit a large case that holds loose gear. Anglers who walk a lot, or who need small compartments for tackle, should look at a smaller, divided box.
Pros and cons
- Fishing and boating use
- Portable handle shape
- Single open bay
- Heavy when full
- Closure type not listed
Performance notes
A hard shell protects gear from knocks, and one big bay holds bulky items. Without compartments, small parts mix together. The empty weight adds to the load when packed.
