Overview
A smooth rink or studio floor is where these Sure-Grip Fame wheels belong, with a hard nylon build and a stated durometer. Eight arrive in the pack, enough for two quad skates.
Artistic skaters get a hard, low-grip wheel that spins and slides readily on polished floors. They lack the grip of softer polyurethane, so wet or rough surfaces are a poor match.
Who it's for
Figure and artistic skaters on polished indoor floors will use the nylon build as intended. Recreational skaters who want grip on varied surfaces should look at softer wheels.
Pros and cons
- Hard nylon for smooth floors
- Eight wheels, two skates
- Artistic skate design
- Not for outdoors
- Low grip on rough floors
- Bearings not mentioned
Performance notes
A hard nylon wheel slides and spins easily on polished surfaces, which is useful for artistic moves. Hard wheels have less grip, so dust or damp floors make them skittery.
