Overview
A skater rebuilding a deck gets four Spitfire Classic Series wheels here, made of polyurethane in the Formula-four style. Sold together, they are sized for a standard skateboard.
The reason to buy is a recognized wheel brand and a mid-size diameter that suits street and park skating. The limitation is that no warranty is listed and bearings or hardware are not part of the set.
Who it's for
Street and park skaters wanting a new set of known wheels will find the size familiar. Cruiser riders, longboarders and anyone who wants a warranty or bearings included should look at other options.
Pros and cons
- Set of four wheels
- Recognized skate wheel brand
- Mid-size street diameter
- No warranty offered
- Bearings not included
- Hardness rating not listed
- Core type not described
Performance notes
Wheel diameter and hardness decide how a wheel rolls, slides and grips on rough surfaces. A smaller wheel accelerates quickly and a larger wheel rolls over cracks more easily. Polyurethane wears down with slides and street use.
