Overview

Powerwinch makes this RC30 winch for hauling a boat onto a trailer. The listing gives only the size, color and weight, so the build details have to come from the manufacturer.

A known winch name and a stated size are what the listing confirms. Rated pull, drum details and line type are not given, and the listed dimensions look unreliable.

Who it's for

Boaters who already know the RC30 and want a like-for-like replacement can use the model number to match it. Buyers choosing a winch from scratch should find one with a published rating.

Pros and cons

Pros

Known winch model
Combi size stated

Cons

Pull rating missing
Line type missing
Material listing looks doubtful
Warranty term unclear

Performance notes

Winch performance depends on gear ratio, handle length and rated capacity, and none of these are in the listing. A heavier boat needs a higher rating than the listing can show.
