Overview
Empire Comfort Systems OP42FP32MN is a stainless steel vent-free gas fireplace for outdoor installation, with a Harmony burner and concealed but reachable controls.
A traditional stainless look and a strong burner make it a ready centerpiece for an outdoor room, with simple installation claimed. The limits are a listing that disagrees with itself about logs and the remote, and a framing size that has to be planned in advance.
Who it's for
Homeowners building out a patio who have natural gas and want a vent-free stainless unit. Buyers who need exact box contents should confirm with the seller before ordering.
Pros and cons
- High heat output
- Natural gas, vent-free design
- Stainless steel construction
- Remote ready controls
- Listing conflicts on logs and remote
- Separate log set required per description
- Pilot type described two ways
Performance notes
A Harmony burner produces the heat, and an intermittent pilot is described as fuel-saving. Vent-free operation means no flue run is described, and the unit is meant for outdoor installation.
