Overview
A color-changing flame effect behind tempered glass, with drift wood logs and crystal embers, makes up the Touchstone Sideline Elite. It is corded electric, vent free and can be recessed into a wall or hung on it with the included bracket.
Flame colors, WiFi control and Alexa or Google voice commands make it a controllable feature wall piece, and the weatherproof build allows outdoor placement. The title is blunt that it gives no heat, so it will not warm a room or patio. Remote control, a mounting bracket and screws are included.
Who it's for
Owners who want a wide, controllable flame look on a living room, bedroom or outdoor wall will use the WiFi and voice control. Anyone who needs warmth from a fireplace should choose a heating model instead.
Pros and cons
- Color-changing flame display
- WiFi, Alexa and Google control
- Weatherproof for outdoor use
- Recessed or wall mount options
- Makes no heat
- Needs mains power, corded
- Wall mounting needs a suitable wall
Performance notes
The display runs on mains power and shows a color-changing flame over logs and crystal embers behind tempered glass. WiFi and voice assistants adjust it, and the remote does the same locally. It makes no heat, so nothing in the room changes except the look.
