Overview
A metalworker or fabricator who needs a slim corded grinder gets a lightweight DEWALT die grinder here, listed for grinding. The speed is fixed at one value, and the item type reads as a die grinder.
A light body and a high fixed speed suit detail grinding in tight spots, and the cord removes battery limits. The limitation is the sparse contents: no collet sizes, wrench or bits are mentioned.
Who it's for
Shop work that calls for steady speed in awkward spots suits a lightweight corded grinder. Cordless users, or those who need to vary speed for different materials, should look at other models.
Pros and cons
- Grinding use listed
- Three year warranty
- Single speed only
- Collet size not listed
- Accessories not included
Performance notes
With one speed fixed, cutting rate depends on the bit and on how firmly it is pressed. The high speed suits small abrasive and carbide bits, and a corded motor holds output through a long job. The light weight reduces fatigue during detail work.
