Overview
A motor fed from the wall outlet spins the grinding wheel of this DeWalt grinder at a stated high speed. The listing gives power, speed, weight and size but leaves out the wheel diameter, handle and guard.
A high rated speed and a light body suit cutting and grinding jobs where the tool is held for a while. The limitation is that the motor power has no unit and the wheel diameter is not listed.
Who it's for
Grinding welds, cutting small stock and cleaning up metal edges near an outlet are the typical jobs. Buyers who need a specific wheel size, a paddle switch or a battery tool should look for a listing that states those.
Pros and cons
- Light enough for long use
- High stated speed
- Corded AC/DC power
- Wheel diameter not listed
- Motor power unit missing
- Switch type unclear
- Guard details missing
Performance notes
Spindle speed and the wheel fitted decide how fast the grinder removes material, and a lighter body is easier to hold steady against the work. Higher speed also raises heat and spark, so the right wheel rating matters.
