Overview
Casting a set of surface lures is the purpose of this Sougayilang kit, which bundles several topwater baits with a box. Each lure carries treble hooks, and the species list reaches across freshwater and coastal fish.
A boxed set gives variety and tidy storage, and a species list this wide suggests general use. The weak side is detail: the set is called large without any lengths, and colors are named only by a type code.
Who it's for
A surface fisher who wants several baits ready in one box. Anglers who match lure size to a precise bait or fish should check the seller for measurements first.
Pros and cons
- Boxed set for easy storage
- Treble hooks on the lures
- Several target species listed
- Five lures in one purchase
- Lure lengths not listed
- Individual weights unstated
- Colors given only by type code
Performance notes
Surface lures draw strikes by splashing or churning at the top, so the shape of the head and body sets the sound. Treble hooks catch fish that strike short. The listing omits action details, so real behavior must be judged by use.
