Overview
A yard with hedges, shrubs and bushes to shape can use this corded electric trimmer, which has a dual-action hardened steel blade and a full wraparound front handle. A built-in cord retainer helps it stay plugged in.
A longer blade and a dual-action design that cuts with less vibration make hedge shaping quicker, and the wraparound handle gives comfortable control. The cord retainer helps the trimmer stay powered. The limitation is branch thickness, which is capped at a small stated size, and the cord limits reach.
Who it's for
A homeowner who shapes hedges and bushes and wants a light tool with a wraparound handle will find it comfortable. Dual action reduces vibration compared with single action models, according to the seller. Anyone cutting thick growth, or without power nearby, should look elsewhere.
Pros and cons
- Dual-action blade lowers vibration
- Full wraparound front handle
- Cord retainer built in
- Hardened steel blade
- Cord limits reach
- Thin branches only
Performance notes
The dual-action blade is described as minimizing vibration compared with single-action models. The motor power sets the stated branch thickness limit, and the wraparound handle gives a second grip for control. A built-in retainer holds the extension cord in place.
