Overview
Hedges along a garden boundary are the job of this CRAFTSMAN V20 cordless trimmer, which has dual action blades and a full wrap-around handle. A battery and charger are included, and an integrated hook lets it hang in a garage.
A kit with the battery and charger is ready to use on arrival. Dual action blades handle regular hedge trimming, and the wrap-around handle gives a secure grip. Capacity is limited to thin branches, and the small battery means larger hedges may take more than one charge.
Who it's for
Owners of small to average hedges who want to avoid cords and fuel will use it comfortably. Anyone cutting thick woody growth, or working a long hedge in one session, should plan for a stronger tool or extra batteries.
Pros and cons
- Battery and charger included
- Dual action blades
- Full wrap-around handle
- Hangs on a VERSATRACK hook
- Cuts thin branches only
- Small battery limits run time on big hedges
- Wall rail for the hook sold separately
Performance notes
Dual action blades cut quickly through branches up to the rated thickness. Run time depends on the battery fitted, and the one in this kit sets the ceiling for a big hedge. Blade length governs how much hedge is trimmed per pass.
