Overview
Baby Delight designs the Beside Me Dreamer as a bassinet that becomes a bedside sleeper when the side panel is unzipped. Straps attach it to an adult bed, and the body is fabric and mesh over a plastic and metal frame.
Two modes let the same unit serve as a free standing bassinet or as a sleeper beside the bed, and assembly needs no tools. The limitation is the age and weight range, which is short and listed as the first five months.
Who it's for
New parents who want the baby within reach at night can use the bedside mode with the side panel unzipped. Families whose baby will outgrow the limits soon, or who need a crib, should look at other furniture.
Pros and cons
- Converts to bedside sleeper
- Mattress and sheet included
- Short age and weight range
- Height position count inconsistent
- Frame includes plastic parts
Performance notes
The side panel unzips so the sleeper can sit against an adult bed, and straps connect it to the bed frame. Mesh walls allow air to pass, and the cover is washable by machine.
