Overview
Milliard's bedside bassinet, model CSLP-MSH, pairs a plush mattress with mesh sides and height adjustment built to reach adult beds between 23 and 31 inches tall.
It works as a standalone bassinet or straps to an adult bed as a side sleeper, with retracting legs to tuck under a divan-style frame. Four mesh storage pockets keep diapers and wipes within reach at night.
- Height adjustable, 23-31 inches
- Mesh breathable sides
- Bedside or standalone use
- 4 storage pockets
Who it's for
It is not the pick for a nursery-only setup, where the bedside attachment feature goes unused.
Pros and cons
- Adjusts to fit unusually tall beds, 23-31 inches
- Mesh sides for visibility and airflow
- Doubles as standalone or bed-attached sleeper
- Side pockets for diapers and wipes
- New unit has a chemical smell that takes time to fade
- Small wheels roll poorly
- Included and aftermarket sheets can be a tight fit
Performance notes
Mesh walls on all sides are what parents point to for keeping the baby visible from the adult bed at night, which several say was the deciding factor over solid-sided bassinets.
